We have a game against Saints united this Saturday. We have played them before but they will be a lot harder this time around, wish us luck

southwell is a good school with lots of opportunities, with good sports and is lots of fun. if you have kids send them to southwell

Athletes

This week we had athletes, it was a good week for me getting into most of the finals. It was a lot of fun

fixture

last wednesday we played a fixture against Dilworth, we won. We scored 140 runs and we bowled them out for 19.

next week we are going to play dilworth at home. it should be a win for us because we got them all out for 11 runs last year, wish us luck.

Short story

We are starting our short story and my is about a nz soldier goes to war and finds a german soldier injured and help him but do they get back alive.

my week

My week has been good because I have got over my injures and can play rugby again, we are playing suburbs in the semi-final, it will be a tough game wish us luck.

Home work

Hereworth

On wednesday we went down to Hereworth to play sport and we got billeted there. We started of with a four quick tries in the first half ended with a big lead to southwell 27 0, It was a brutal second half with both teams having glimpses of brilliance, then hereworth came back with a try but we hung on for a great win 27 7, we were all stoked. I hope we do well next year.

sustainable house

it was a hard task completing my sustainable house. we have marks today. but it was a lot of fun

market day

Today we had a market day, where the year 8 make thing for the year 7. It was a great day and I really enjoyed it.

Syndicate assemble

This week 7DH hosted year 7 assembly it was a lot of fun with all of our actives.

We had a competition that you have to make the three judges laugh, the wining class was 7TM.

Ballets firing all around me with the sense of death on every ballet.

Friends falling around me and I think of there family,

how they would feel?

Every time a shell hits it's like an earthquake.

I hear blood curdling screams that will stay in my head forever.    

It is a sole persing exprece.

Then the firing stops with heavy casualties on both sides.

We have a short time to rest before the ballets starts start firing all around me

with the scenes of death on every ballet.   

rugby

On saturday we played a brutal game of rugby against old boy A. the score was 29 12. I played against some of my rep friends. Overall it was a great game and I hope we can play against them again in the season.  

winter sport

It been a great week with winter sport to top it off, we played old boy  and won 64 0. It was a great start to the season. I scored one try and did ten tackles. overall it was a fun game for my team.

Project Energise

On friday some people from project energise came to southwell school to talk to us about drinks. We learnt about how many teaspoons were in drinks.  I was really surprised on how much sugar were in some of the drinks. Like the e2 has twenty teaspoons of sugar in it and powerade has aleven teaspoons. but there were some good drink like water that has no sugar at all and milk that has two teaspoons of sugar but it is natral sugar like in fruit. I really enjoyed project energise coming and i will make sure the i look at the back of the bottle before i buy the drink.

It was really fun on camp and i am really thankful for getting the appreciate to do most of the activities. waimarino was the best activity because of the blob and the kayak which I really enjoyed. thats all by
