100 word challenge: week six

Battered, long and lanky legs are the base of a humble soldier just out of battle. His body thin and bruised full of neversiness. The dirty flesh ripped by the razor sharp barb wire. His rifle is imbedded in the soggy trench wall. His uniform looks like a mud grenade exploded all over him. His face is scarred and his eyes are as brown as the trench floor and his sole has been perced and will never be the same as before. As he clambers out of the trench, suddenly an arm grabs him and say the fragile word help.

100 word challenge: week five term

Trapped in the rugged hole full of loneliness there was nothing, a few strands of grass but that was it. I try to search for a way out. As I try to get out I slip and fall onto my dark green ripped bag. When I got up i checked my bag for any food or water, there was only a jersey and a match box. I got a match out of the box and just stared at it for a moment and then i strike it and as the flame flickers and went out, then all hope is lost.
